Shop rosin concentrates crafted with heat and pressure. Solventless extracts with full-spectrum flavor.

Rosin is a solventless concentrate made by pressing dried and cured flower, dry sift, or hash between heated plates. The heat and pressure rupture the heated heads, squeezing out a resinous oil without any chemical solvents involved. What you end up with is a clean, potent extract that stays close to the plant.

Types of Rosin We Carry

What rosin is pressed from (flower, dry sift, hash) determines how potent, refined, and flavorful the final product turns out. Here’s what type of rosin you can find at our Quality Roots locations across New Jersey and Michigan:

  • Flower rosin: Pressed directly from dried and cured buds. It’s the most traditional starting point for rosin and holds onto the full character of the strain, though it’s generally less potent than rosin pressed from hash.
  • Dry sift rosin: Made by pressing kief, the fine trichome powder collected by sifting cured flower through mesh screens. Because it starts more concentrated than whole flower, dry sift rosin tends to run more potent and with a cleaner flavor.
  • Hash rosin: Pressed from bubble hash, cured flower that’s been washed in ice water to isolate the trichomes before pressing. This extra refinement step makes hash rosin generally the most potent and purest form of rosin on the shelf, often considered the gold standard of solventless extraction.

How to Choose the Right Rosin for You

Rosin sits through the higher-potency end of the concentrate world, so it’s not usually where beginners start. If you’re new to dabbing, ease in with something milder first and work your way up to rosin.

If you want rosin that stays close to the strain’s original character, flower rosin is the most traditional option and a solid starting point once you’re ready to dab. If you’re after a step up in potency without sacrificing flavor, dry sift rosin offers a cleaner, more concentrated experience.

For the most refined, most potent option, hash rosin is the one to reach for. The ice water washing process filters out plant matter before pressing even happens, so what’s left is about as pure as concentrate gets.
