Shop live resin products with rich terpene profiles — concentrates, vape carts, disposables, and edibles. Fresh-frozen extraction for bold flavor and potency.

Live resin is a cannabis concentrate made from fresh-frozen flower, flash-frozen right after harvest as opposed to being dried and cured first. That extra step locks in more of the plant’s original terpenes and cannabinoids, resulting in a full-spectrum extract that smells and tastes closer to the living plant than many other concentrates.

THC levels typically land between 60% and 90%, with the terpene content doing most of the heavy lifting on flavor.

Types of Live Resin We Carry

How live resin is processed after extraction determines its final texture, and each one has its own feel, flavor intensity, and level of mess. At Quality Roots, we carry a large selection of live resin products across our dispensary locations in New Jersey and Michigan.

  • Sauce: Runny and syrupy, with small THCa crystals suspended in a terpene-rich liquid. It’s one of the most flavorful and potent textures, though the messiest to work with on a dab tool.
  • Sugar: A grainy, wet-sugar texture that sits between sauce and badder. It holds onto strong terpene expression while still being easy to scoop and portion.
  • Badder (or budder): Whipped during processing into a smooth, creamy, frosting-like texture. It’s one of the most beginner-friendly formats because it’s easy to handle without much mess.
  • Diamonds: Nearly pure THCa crystals, separated out from sauce during processing. Diamonds test the highest for raw potency, but carry less flavor on their own, which is why they’re often paired back with sauce for a fuller experience.

How to Choose the Right Live Resin Extract for You

Live resin isn’t the gentlest place to start if you’re brand new to concentrates. It’s a big step up from flower, pre-rolls, and most edibles, so ease in slowly if dabbing is new to you.

If flavor is the priority, sauce delivers the most intense terpene experience, though it takes a steadier hand to work with. Sugar is a solid middle ground in that it’s still terpene-forward, but easier to scoop and dose than sauce.

Badder is the move if you want something spreadable and low-mess, especially if you’re newer to dabbing concentrates in general. And if raw potency is what you’re chasing over flavor, diamonds get you there, best enjoyed alongside a bit of sauce to bring the terpenes back into the mix.
